Whole pediatric medicine
An enhanced understanding of pediatric healthcare: natural, complementary and integrating, applied to conventional classical and whole pediatric care and treatment. The aim is children who feel better and live better.
Everything a family needs from a primary pediatrician, from the first hospital visit after birth through the teenage years, with an integrative perspective layered on top.
What we do
The visits that make up most of childhood: growth tracked over time, questions answered before they become worries.

Care starts in the hospital, on the day your baby is born, and carries on in the office.

Acute care in the office, and someone who knows your child if the hospital becomes necessary.

The part of the practice that gives it its name: what your child eats, breathes and lives around.

Our approach
Natural Pediatrics is a conventional pediatric practice with a second layer on top of it. Classical medicine is the foundation. Nutrition, prevention and the child's environment are treated as part of the same conversation.
An enhanced understanding of pediatric healthcare: natural, complementary and integrating, applied to conventional classical and whole pediatric care and treatment. The aim is children who feel better and live better.
Compassionate and individualised care, partnering with parents to bring the best options from classical traditional pediatrics together with integrative and complementary, holistic medicine.
Information and choices about natural care, healing for children, preventive medicine, some of the causes of poor health in children, and building a healthy immune system.
Guidance for infants, children and adolescents on nutrition that supports the body's own natural healing.
Reducing everyday exposures: pesticides, plastics and plastic-sourced chemicals, air pollutants, indoor air quality, secondhand smoke, water purity and heavy metals.
Dr. Yucel works with parents rather than around them. He wants your questions, including the uncomfortable ones.
Breastfeeding
Natural Pediatrics is fully supportive of breastfeeding and encourages it for all mothers and babies.
The office has a qualified registered nurse who, along with Dr. Yucel, provides guidance, counseling and consulting for mothers who are nursing or planning to.
House rules
Part of the practice's parent education is a short list of things Dr. Yucel asks families to avoid in food and in the home.
This is the practice's own stated position on diet and household exposures. Talk with Dr. Yucel about how it applies to your child.
Appointments
Appointments are booked by phone. If you are calling after hours, the line goes to Dr. Yucel's cell phone and you reach your child's doctor directly.
