Privacy policy

The short version

This website is a brochure. It has no login, no patient portal, no contact form, no shopping cart and no advertising trackers. It does not ask you for your name, your child's name, your date of birth, your insurance details or any health information, and it has no way to store them.

Everything you actually tell the practice happens by phone, by email or in the office. That information is protected health information, and it is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices rather than by this page.

Information this website collects

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the server that hosts naturalpediatric.com records standard technical information each time a page is requested: the IP address making the request, the page requested, the date and time, the browser and operating system, and the page you came from. This is used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Because of that, there is no cookie banner. Two third parties can set cookies through content embedded on our pages, and they are described below.

Fonts

Headings and body text use two typefaces served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request information. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to build advertising profiles. If the practice prefers to remove that dependency entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted instead.

The map on the contact page

The contact page embeds a Google Maps frame so parents can see where the office is. Loading that frame is a request to Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy. The map is loaded lazily, so it is only requested if you scroll to it.

Information the practice collects when you contact us

If you call the office, we take the information we need to schedule and provide care. If you email either address listed on this site, we receive whatever you choose to write, along with your email address.

Information you give the practice in the course of care is protected health information under HIPAA. How it is used and disclosed is set out in the Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your information
• We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels on this site
• We do not use analytics software on this site
• We do not share your information with data brokers
• We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website

Children and this website

This site is written for parents and caregivers, not for children. It does not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13, which is what the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) governs. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the practice through this website, call the office and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

This site links out to Google, to U.S. News & World Report and to other directories that list the practice. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, under their privacy policy, and this policy no longer applies.

Your rights

Your rights over your child's medical records come from HIPAA and from New Jersey law, and they are described in the Notice of Privacy Practices. To ask about records, request a copy, or request a correction, call the office.

State privacy laws

New Jersey's Data Privacy Act took effect in 2025. Like most state consumer privacy laws, it exempts protected health information held by a HIPAA covered entity, and it exempts covered entities themselves in several respects. Because this website collects no personal information at all, and because everything the practice holds about your child is protected health information under HIPAA, those laws add nothing here in practice. Your rights over your child's records come from HIPAA and from New Jersey medical records law, and they are set out in the Notice of Privacy Practices.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes to how the practice handles protected health information are communicated through the Notice of Privacy Practices, not through this page.
